Elizabeth’s father passed suddenly from Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), and Erin’s mother continues to bravely face Glioblastoma (GBM). Both have deeply influenced the heart and purpose behind Backpocket.

For Elizabeth, her father’s passion for writing inspired her own love of creating meaningful content. For Erin, memories of her mother’s handmade tissue pockets during her childhood sparked the idea for making a product...and how funny the name became "backpocket". 

These causes are close to our hearts. Researchers are working tirelessly toward cures, and we’re honored to contribute to their efforts. Every bit truly matters. The brain is where connection starts, help us protect it.
