When working as an architect and commercial real estate broker, I always wanted to solve my clients problems with continuity of care and dedication. When my first daughter was born I wanted to give her that same degree of attention while also helping me grow with the best parent-child experience as possible. I wanted to do more to help myself and others with making the most of early parenthood and optimizing the little time we had to just be us, mom and daughter, connecting with joy and intention. One more beautiful daughter later and one strong partnership later, Backpocket was born…a company focused on delivering parenting tools with the simplicity and convenience of something “in our back pockets”.

I’ve spent the bulk of my career focused on childhood development and early intervention. When I became a mother myself, I realized that parenting was not “one-size-fits-all”. What started as organically connecting with my daughter’s friend’s parents quickly became a little side business. I love empowering parents to find ways to connect with their children in a way that feels right to them, and supporting parents as they sift through the abundant parenting content out there. Backpocket was the perfect opportunity to merge my professional knowledge with my passion for embracing the parent experience.
